"The Great Tower of London". Intended to be taller than the Eiffel and draw tourists, it was found to have an unsteady foundation and was deemed unsafe. The money ran out and only this section was built. It was demolished in 1907. The site is now home to Wembley Stadium. (c.1900) [640 × 404]
